Thursday, March 3, 2022 - The Sequoyah County Boys and Girls Club recently announced the dates and process for 2022 summer enrollment. Children who are six years of age or older are able to attend the summer program, which will run from June 1 through July 29.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Sequoyah County Boys and Girls Club, Laura Kuykendall, said, "We are trying to make the enrollment process as simple and as quick as possible this year."
The pick-up date for enrollment packets will be held on March 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This will be done in a drive through setting in the south parking lot of the Sallisaw Club. "Packets will not be distributed until the gates open," Kuykendall added.
The drop-off day for enrollment packets will be on March 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and March 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This will also take place in the south parking lot when the gates open.
Kuykendall said, "If the weather is cold and rainy, you will go through the door on the south end of campus and go to the first room on the left."
Payment is due at the time enrollment packets are dropped off. The cost for the summer is $150 for the first child, and an additional $100 for the second, third, and fourth child, and $50 for each child after that'
Children will not be eligible for summer enrollment if they have past due membership fees.
The club will be taking enrollment fees in the form of exact cash, credit or debit cards, or checks that are made out to the Boys and Girls Club. There will be no refunds once payment is made, regardless of how often the child attends.
Kuykendall stated, "Space is limited and we will only be taking the first 125 numbered enrollment packets that are picked up and returned with payment during the pick-up and drop-off dates. However, we will have a waiting list that your child can be placed on once enrollment is at capacity."
