Thursday, June 4, 2026 —Sequoyah County will have the opportunity to support the Boys and Girls Club of Sequoyah County while helping fund the organization's new facility during an online silent auction scheduled for June 8-12.
The annual fundraiser is taking on a new look this year, transitioning from its traditional live auction to a five-day online silent auction. This new format will allow club supporters to browse and bid on various donated items from the convenience of their phone, tablet, or computer.
Bidding will open Monday, June 8, and continue through Friday, June 12. Throughout the week, participants can view auction items and place bids in support of local youth programs and the club's future home.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Sequoyah County's New Building Fund. The organization recently celebrated the groundbreaking of its new facility and is continuing fundraising efforts to help cover the remaining construction costs.
Club officials said 100 percent of the proceeds from the auction will go directly toward the new building project, which will provide expanded opportunities, resources, and services for youth throughout Sequoyah County.
Everyone is encouraged to follow the Boys and Girls Club of Sequoyah County Facebook page and turn on notifications to receive updates and to be among the first to access the auction as it goes live.
