The Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library is hosting a Baby and Toddler Fair on Saturday, October 12, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The event will feature a baby crawling contest, a toddler 10-meter race, as well as resources, snacks, and more.
Representatives from the Sequoyah County Health Department, Cherokee Nation WIC, Adventure Head Start, and Embrace Grace Embrace Life will be onsite, providing educational materials to families on topics such as newborn screenings, breastfeeding, nutrition, birth defects, and free vitamins with folic acid.
Door prizes, including diapers, onesies, burp cloths, and knitted caps courtesy of Bizzy Beez, will be given away. The first 20 participants will also receive special care packages.
The Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library is located at 101 East Cherokee Street in Sallisaw.
