Carl Henson has been missing since Thursday afternoon.
Friday, June 11, 2021 - Authorities and family members are searching for a Sequoyah County man missing since approximately 4 p.m. Thursday.
Carl Henson, 61, reportedly left the Baucom Rd area on his way to Sallisaw to pick up medicine for a grandchild. He later spoke to a family member and stated that he had ran out of gas and was being given a ride to get gas for his vehicle. He did not state who he was going with. He has not been seen or heard from since.
His car was located near Dora on Friday but there was no sign of Henson.
Authorities state that Henson's ATM card was used in Fort Smith on Friday. However, it's unknown if the card was used by Henson or someone else.
Henson was last seen wearing a shirt with writing on it, blue jeans and brown shoes. He has a long gray beard.
