Arrest made following Monday Amber Alert for Muldrow teen

Tuesday, April 5, 2022 - An arrest has been made following a Monday Amber Alert for a Muldrow teen.


The 15-year-old was reported missing Monday afternoon after last being seen at Muldrow School. In the Amber Alert, the girl was described as having developmental disabilities.


According to authorities, the girl was dropped off at a Poteau motel, around 5:30 p.m., by 24-year-old Vincent Mink, of Bokoshe. Mink immediately left the scene. The girl then phoned her father who contacted police. Officers picked up the teen and stated she was found safe.


Poteau police were given information related to the whereabouts of Mink and were able to locate him on the 3100 block of North Broadway in Poteau.


Mink was arrested on unrelated outstanding warrants out of Tulsa County. The warrants include sexual communication with a minor and indecent exposure to a child. Investigators from multiple agencies are working on the case and it is expected that additional charges will be filed.
