Annual Christmas tree lighting and Santa planned for Thursday in Sallisaw

Wednesday, November 17, 2021 - The Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to the Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library lawn at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 18 for the town's annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony.

It will be a colorful scene throughout the entire city as the hard work put in by city employees over the past several weeks comes together for the town’s enjoyment.

Christmas music, courtesy of The Mix 105.1, Sallisaw Middle School, and Sallisaw High School will fill the air, as Santa rides in on a firetruck in anticipation of visiting with all the boys and girls at the GRDA stage. The Sallisaw Youth Coalition will also be present and serving up some tasty hot chocolate, making the evening a complete "Hometown Christmas" experience.

Members of the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce encourage everyone to come out and join in the fun as they light up the town for the 2021 holiday season!

For more information regarding the event, contact the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce at 918-775-2558.
