50th Annual Sallisaw Car Show Celebrates Five Decades of Cars and Community

Sunday, September 27, 2026 –A Sallisaw tradition is marking a major milestone this year as the 50th Annual Car Show returns to downtown Sallisaw on Saturday, October 10, as part of the 2026 Sallisaw Main Street Fall Festival.

For five decades, car enthusiasts have gathered in Sallisaw to showcase their vehicles, admire classic rides, and celebrate their passion for cars and trucks. This year’s milestone event will bring another day of cars, chrome, and competition to downtown.

Organizers are inviting classic car owners, custom builders, truck owners, collectors, and car clubs to bring their vehicles and be part of the celebration. Whether a vehicle has been carefully restored to its original condition, customized from bumper to bumper, or falls into a category all its own, there will be an opportunity to showcase it.

The car show will feature several award categories, including

·        Best in Show Car – Original

·        Best in Show Car – Modified

·        Best in Show Truck – Original

·        Best in Show Truck – Modified

·        Old School Special Interest

The entry fee is $20 per vehicle, with cash prizes and door prizes available for participants.

Spectator admission is free, giving families and visitors the opportunity to walk through the lineup of vehicles while enjoying the other activities taking place during the Fall Festival.

In addition to the car show, the 2026 Sallisaw Main Street Fall Festival will feature vendors, a chili cook-off, and other activities throughout downtown, providing plenty of opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy the day.
