Tuesday, May 11, 2021 - The Rural Communities Initiative Foundation (RCIF) will host its first-ever Gathering Festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 29, at the SBS/RCIF Center in Muldrow.
Admission is free at the event, which will include raffles for a handmade knife and a huge grill package. Door prizes will be given away hourly. Upon arrival, visitors will receive one free ticket for a door prize.
The event will also feature horseshoe and cornhole tournaments, which are $10 for singles or $10 for a two-person team. Tournament registration will begin at 10 a.m. on festival day, or you can message the RCIF on Facebook and pre-register.
Other fun activities at the festival will include bingo, a bounce house, a cake walk, dunk tank, face painting, ring toss and more. Meals will also be available for sale. Guests will have their choice of a barbecue sandwich, chips and a drink for $8 or an Indian taco with all the fixings and a drink for $7.50.
