Monday, June 20, 2022 - The Sallisaw VFW Auxiliary is sponsoring a family fun day on Saturday, June 25.
The event will be held at the Waylon Staffon VFW Post 4518 on Highway 59 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
There will be free games for the kiddos, such as clothes pin fishing, soda pop ring toss, a rubber ducky pond, a children’s power wheels car show, and a monster and fire truck climb around. Water activities will also be taking place throughout the event, so make sure to bring an extra pair of dry clothes for the ride home.
There will also be games for the adults such as a ring toss which will cost five dollars for three attempts, as well as a corn hole tournament for twenty dollars per team.
The Boy Scout’s derby car track is yet another attraction for the day’s activities. Plus, food trucks will be on site to help cure your hunger for the afternoon.
The Waylon Staffon VFW Post 4518 is located at 104332 US Hwy 59 in Sallisaw.
