Saturday, September 17, 2022 - Several area churches have come together to host a Teen Block Party this Saturday, September 17. The block party will take place at the Stage Park in downtown Sallisaw from 6-8:30 p.m.
The block party will feature a guest speaker, free food, and live music, including a worship band from Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU).
Games will be set up on site for youth to enjoy. A few of the games will include cornhole, 9 square and spike ball. A lot of great prizes will also be given away, such as Nintendo cards, Xbox games, and gift cards.
The grand prize of the evening will be two OU vs. OSU bedlam tickets!
If your teen would like to be a part of a fun and exciting night, be sure they head downtown tonight.
Sponsors of the Teen Block Party include the following churches: Blunt Baptist, Sallisaw First Baptist, Hanson Baptist, and Immanuel Baptist.
