Monday, May 23, 2022 - The Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library welcomes youth of all ages to Splash into Summer by joining the 2022 Summer Reading Program. The program begins May 23 and will run through August 5.
This summer, the reading program theme will be based on an epic underwater adventure. Those participating will have the opportunity to earn special rewards and prizes by reading, creating, and visiting the library all summer long.
Students benefit in several ways when they engage in reading activities during the summer months. They gain the ability to retain materials learned throughout the previous school year, increase their desire to read, and improve their self-esteem, comprehension, and memory skills.
