Sequoyah's Cabin Museum hosting Fall Harvest Day Oct. 29

Thursday, October 20, 2022 - On Saturday, October 29, Sequoyah’s Cabin Museum in Sallisaw will be hosting a fall harvest day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Those attending will want to be sure to invite their friends and family out to enjoy an exciting day filled with traditional games and live music.

Children will get the opportunity to create special make-and-take craft projects during the event. Plus, the Visit Cherokee Nation team will be on hand to help youth with all crafting projects.

Visitors can also head out to the Sequoyah's cabin grounds anytime from October 17 to October 29 to visit the museum’s pumpkin patch. Those attending will receive a free pumpkin and craft kit they can take home.

In addition, a fall harvest photo op area will be available. Families will have a blast creating fall family photos that they can share with others. Be sure to tag your favorite family photo with #VisitCherokeeNation.

It's important to note that pumpkins and craft kit supplies are limited and will be given out on a first come, first served basis. The organization will be allowing one pumpkin per child while supplies last.
