Monday, April 22, 2024 - The Sallisaw Police Department has released the following statement regarding allegations made against School Resource Officer Blaine Griffey who was assigned to Sallisaw Public Schools.
Statement from the Sallisaw Police Department
The Sallisaw Police Department requested the O.S.B.I. to investigate allegations made against the officer. The allegations alleged inappropriate contact with a student.
The officer has been placed on administrative leave until the outcome of the investigation is complete.
The Sallisaw Police Department takes all complaints seriously and fully investigates all complaints and allegations.
