Polling place changes for June 28 primary and special election


Wednesday, April 27, 2022 - Polling places for six precincts in Sequoyah County have been changed, Cindy Osburn, Secretary of the Sequoyah County Election Board, announced today.


The changes are as follows:


Precinct 103 – The former location was the Muldrow Library, 711 W Shawntel Smith Blvd. The new location is Muldrow High School Gym, 715 W Shawntel Blvd.


107-New Precinct: Moffett School Gym, 701 Belt St., Moffett.


204-Change from McKey Fire Dept. to People Inc. Complex 204 S J.T. Stites Blvd, Sallisaw.


302-Change from Sallisaw Civic Center to Sallisaw Nutrition Center, 115 W Redwood, Sallisaw.


206-Old McKey School Precinct no longer exists.


304-Brent Community Center Precinct no longer exists.


Changes are effective immediately. Voters affected by the changes will receive new Voter ID cards in the mail with their new polling place information.


Osborn asks that voters be patient. "Our office is here for all your questions," Osborn said. "The election board staff will be more than happy to help through this process."


Osborn said the changes are due to redistricting which occurs every ten years following the census.


Voters who have questions or concerns, should contact the Sequoyah County Election Board at 918-775-2614 or Sequoyahcounty@elections.ok.gov. The County Election Board is located at 110 E Creek Ave. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
