Pervasive Parenting Center Director Kodey Toney said, "This is the seventh-year of hosting trivia night and each year it seems to grow. If you are looking to have a fun night out full of laughs and competition, then this event is for you."
The cost per team is one hundred dollars, and you can have up to ten members per team. All teams are encouraged to dress according to the theme for the night. This year’s theme is "Alice in Wonderland."
Trophies for best individual and best team costumes will be awarded, along with a trophy and a year's worth of bragging rights for the first place Trivia team winner.
"Teams can be formed through businesses, organizations, individuals, or school groups, which creates a great team-building experience," Toney added.
The Pervasive Parenting Center is made up of families, local educators, community leaders, and health-care professionals. Toney said, "We are funded in part by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education and the Office of Special Education Programs to be a Community Parent Resource Center."
Toney added, "We work with families in LeFlore, Sequoyah, Adair, Cherokee, Haskell, and Latimer counties in eastern Oklahoma."
