Marble City kicks off area 4th of July events with a day of festivities


Thursday, June 23, 2022 - The first of many area July 4th events is set to take place this Saturday, June 25 in Marble City. The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will continue throughout day and into the evening hours.


Saturday’s festivities will kick off with the newly formed Farmers Market that will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.


Organizer of the newly formed farmers' market, Donna Brackett, stated, "Right now we accept vendors who follow USDA rules and label all homemade foods and products. We have a membership of $20 for the rest of the year or a daily $5.00 set-up fee for non-members. We are currently a cash-only site but are working on obtaining all the necessary information to apply for WIC/EBT and other programs."


After the Farmers Market, you will get a couple of hours to catch a quick nap before the evening events gets underway.


At 6:00 p.m. activities for the kiddos will begin including children’s games, water fun, bounce arounds, and face painting. Opening ceremonies will begin at 6:30 with a military and veterans presentation. There will also be a variety of delicious foods available.


Rezervation Road will take the stage at 7:00 p.m. and continue until the grand finale takes place at dark with an amazing firework show display. The Town of Marble City invites everyone to come out and enjoy the fun!!!
