Friday, September 30, 2022 - Marble City's annual Fall Festival will begin tomorrow morning, Oct. 1, with breakfast at the bank at 7 a.m.
The jam-packed day of events includes yard sales, arts and crafts, flea markets and food vendors, beginning at 8 a.m.
Food vendors will be set up all day and will be serving Indian tacos, enchiladas, ice cream sundaes, and hamburgers, to name just a few.
Opening ceremonies, including an invocation, and guest speakers will begin at 8:45 a.m.
At 3:30 p.m., there will be a bicycle race sponsored by MC Farmers Market, and a free barbecue meal sponsored by Cherokee Casino Sallisaw begins at 4 p.m.
The fall festival wouldn’t be complete without musical performers. The entertainment lineup includes:
9 a.m. - George Paul New
10 a.m. - Jimmy "Wildman" Sawney
11 a.m. - Constant battle
1 p.m. - Southern Comfort
3 p.m. - HooDoo Katz
4:30-7 p.m. - Rezervation Road
There is no charge for booth setup, but booth spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. So, arrive early to get a good spot.
Event organizers ask that social-distancing guidelines be observed during the event.
