Halloween on Elm Street set for Oct. 31 in Sallisaw

Friday, October 7, 2022 - The Sallisaw Police Department will host their annual Halloween on Elm Street celebration on Monday, October 31.

The Spooktacular event will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Elm Street between Cherokee and Chickasaw. The streets will be blocked off for the evening to ensure the safety of all trick-or-treaters.

Businesses, churches, organizations, and civic groups will be set up along the street, passing out candy and treats for even the youngest ghosts and goblins.

Set-up time for businesses and organizations will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. All entities participating will be responsible for bringing their own tables, chairs, and candy.

The Mix 105.1 will be broadcasting live, providing music and handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. Make sure you stop by to say hi and show off your creative costumes!

If your business or organization is interested in setting up, donating candy or money towards this year’s event, please contact the Sallisaw Police Department at 918-775-4142 and ask to speak to Scott.
