Monday, September 26, 2022 - On September 26, Sequoyah County Commissioners issued a burn ban effective immediately for the entire county. The burn ban will be in effect for at least the next two weeks. Conditions are continually being monitored and updates will be released if and when changes occur. County residents need to be aware that no outside burning is permitted until the burn ban has been lifted.
