Tractor pull, food, fun and more happening in Webbers Falls June 4

Tuesday, May 31, 2022 - The town of Webbers Falls invites the community to a fun-filled day at the Webbers Falls park on Saturday, June 4.

The day is set to begin at 8:00 a.m. with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Warriors River Run 5K and a one-mile fun run. Runners will check in for the race at 7:30 a.m. at Webbers Falls school.

The cost is $30 for the 5k and $25 for the fun run. Same-day registration is available, or you can register online anytime. The race will be timed by the 1:40 race service.

Once the race is completed, be sure to stick around so you don’t miss out on the Webbers Falls Fire Department fundraiser. A tractor pull will take place starting at 10:00 a.m. The goal of a tractor pull is to determine which machine can out-pull the other in distance.

In addition to the tractor pull, the fire department will be serving up both BBQ and fish dinners during the day. The fundraisers are being held to assist the fire department with the purchase of fireworks for the July 4 show.

The 2022–2023 Webbers Falls cheerleaders will be hosting a bake sale and will have plenty of your favorite desserts on hand. The cheerleaders will be using the money raised to purchase uniforms and other supplies needed that will help them cheer on the Warriors and Lady Warriors this upcoming school year.

If you would like more information regarding the event, you can check out the Webbers Falls Chamber of Commerce Facebook page. For information regarding the race, you can contact Meghan Johnson at mjohnson@webbersfalls.k12.ok.us.
