Sunday, May 9, 2021 - A Stilwell man was killed in a traffic accident Saturday at approximately 3:20 p.m. in Adair County. The accident happened on OK-100 at Line Switch Road approximately four miles west of Stilwell.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) report, Randall Unger, 32, was driving a 2012 Ford Fusion westbound on OK-100 when he departed the roadway to the right and struck a tree. Both Unger and a passenger, Heather Vann, 28, of Stilwell, were ejected from the vehicle.
Unger was pronounced dead at the scene. Vann was transported by First Flight to Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville where she was admitted in critical condition with head, arm, leg, trunk internal and external injuries
