Tuesday, July 26, 2022 - The town of Roland has announced that waste or brush that resulted from last Thursday’s wind storm will be picked up during normal sanitation routes. The pick-up is available only to those residents who are sanitation customers.
There are a couple of requirements residents must comply with in order for sanitation crews to dispose of debris. All leaves must be bagged, and branches can’t be more than 4 feet long.
Customers should place waste near the road where sanitation crews typically pick up residents’ weekly trash.
It is important to note that if a tree service is hired, they are responsible for disposing of the waste generated.
The town of Roland does have locations available for chipped waste. To find out more information or to learn more about that process, you can contact the water department at 918-427-5779.
