Thursday, May 26, 2021 - The American Legion's Carnie Welch Post 27 will sponsor a Memorial Day service at Sallisaw City Cemetery at 11 a.m. Monday, May 31.
Post Commander Mike Mouzakis said the event will include posting of colors, a 21-gun salute, the playing of taps and a message from Frank Sullivan III. Marty Green, executive director of the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce, will be master of ceremonies.
The public is invited to attend.
