Tuesday, May 11, 2021 - A Pocola man is seeking assistance in locating a stolen vehicle.
A work truck belonging to Bobby Bollinger was stolen from the Sallisaw Sports Complex Monday, May 10, between 7 and 9 p.m. The truck (shown above) is described as a white 4-door Dodge 3500, 4-wheel drive, one ton flatbed.
Bollinger stated he was watching his daughter play softball when the vehicle was stolen. He had arrived late to the game and had parked his work truck toward the back of the fields, he said.
After the game was finished Bollinger said he walked to the parking lot to help his wife load up his daughter’s softball gear. “I started to walk over to where I had parked my truck but it wasn't there," Bollinger said. "I looked on the ground and there were gloves and a few other items that had been thrown out of my truck. I Immediately called the Sallisaw Police Department to make a report."
Bollinger said that the police department had told him that several people had called in and reported a truck matching the description of his truck driving recklessly going toward Muldrow on Highway 64.
If anyone has any information regarding the stolen vehicle, please contact the Sallisaw Police Department at (918) 775-4177.
