Thursday, September 22, 2022 - The Sequoyah County Resource Network is hosting a Community Resource Fair on Wednesday, October 12. The resource fair will be open to the public from noon to 2 p.m. at the People, Inc. Conference Center.
The resource networks' primary goal is to offer and showcase the variety of services that encompass all aspects of the community. Those attending will have the ability to learn about vital services and resources available to Sequoyah County residents.
The resource fair is free to everyone, and the public is encouraged to attend. A range of services will be displayed through educational booths set up by area organizations and agencies. Resources for veterans, food, emergency assistance, addiction, counseling, senior care, and medical services are only a few of the services that will be presented.
Door prizes will be given away along with freebies offered by individual booths. No registration is required for the public to attend.
It is important to note that all information booths need to be set up and open by 10 a.m. All attending agencies will have the opportunity to network, and lunch will be provided before the doors open to the public at 12 p.m.
Booth space is free, but registration is required. Registration forms can be obtained by contacting Melissa Lowe at 918-776-0848 or emailing Melissa.Lowe@kibois.org. Registration forms should be submitted no later than October 5.
